Shopping in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a beautiful city, a historic city, a cultured city. But who cares about that nonsense; what's the Edinburgh shopping like?! Well, here's our take on it.

Harvey Nichols
Full of fashionable designer labels and the latest cutting edge gear, Harvey's is also the place to go for modern home ware, beautiful cosmetics and designer luggage. Harvey Nichols also features bars and restaurants on the top floor have some of the best views in the city.

The Grande dame of Edinburgh stores is undoubtedly Jenners. For over 170 years Jenner’s has provided shoppers with all the shopping they can handle under one roof. A favourite among the traditionalists, it's also got more than its fair share of hip fashion labels. There's floor upon floor of clothes, home ware, toys, cosmetics, furniture, jewellery and lingerie. Not to mention a florist, hairdresser and countless cafes and restaurants.

Edinburgh's well served for the major chains too, with branches of Fraser's, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, H&M on Princes Street and beyond.

Multree’s Walk
Right beside Harvey Nichols is a small street with some of fashions most famous names. Multree’s Walk is home to Armani, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Daks, Reiss, Mulberry and more. This new shopping destination is only getting bigger with more designer names adding themselves regularly, it’s sure to be a hit with shopping enthusiasts for a long time to come.

George Street
George Street is now the most fabulous shopping street in Edinburgh. Take your pick from Escada, Space NK, Joe Malone, Whistles, Jigsaw, Hobbs, LK Bennett, Jaeger and Scotland's own Cruise. George Street is also home to many of Edinburgh’s finest and hippest bars and restaurants.
